Materials & Sizes
How we describe metal and dimensions — precisely, and never overselling.
The metals, distinguished
| Term | What it actually is | How we label it |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Copper alloy with tin (historic Chinese bronzes). | Used only when alloy is confirmed. |
| Copper | Pure copper (reddish). | Stated as copper, not “bronze”. |
| Brass | Copper + zinc (yellow). | Labelled brass — never sold as bronze. |
| Zinc alloy | Cheap alloy, often plated to look bronze. | Flagged; excluded from “bronze” claims. |
A common market pitfall: low-cost “bronze” items that are actually
brass or zinc alloy. We verify each piece and describe the metal accurately.
Dimensions & weight
- Size given in cm (and inches) as H × W × D, measured on the actual piece.
- Weight in kg/lb including export packing, so freight is realistic.
- Where unmeasured, we show Unverified · TBC instead of a guess.
